A healthy teenage lifestyle is important to overall happiness and well-being. Here are some tips to help you on your journey.
If you're a teen, you probably feel like you have a lot to do and not enough time to get it done. You might feel overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect, or by the expectations of your parents, teachers, or other adults in your life. And sometimes finding the energy to deal with all of that can seem impossible.

We know you're busy. Between school and extracurriculars, it's hard to find time to take care of yourself. But don't worry! The following tips will help you take care of your body and mind so that you can be your best self—even when it feels like there's not enough time in the day.
Here are some tips for staying healthy and stress-free as a teen:
1) Eat right! That means eating meals at regular times and when you're hungry (physically hungry, not emotionally hungry). Your body needs a lot of extra energy to supply the demand of growth and learning at this stage of your life, and you never know when your body is needing more for a growth spurt, so it's important to listen to your body and give it what it needs to be successful in its pursuits!
2) Get enough rest! Even if you don't feel tired, try going to bed earlier than usual—or at least taking a nap during the day. Your body will thank you for it later!
3) Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day—and don't forget about those other fluids like tea or juice! They're important too because they help keep your body running smoothly and efficiently.
4) Do something fun every day—whether it's hanging out with friends or playing video games after school; reading a book; watching TV shows or movies; listening to music; playing sports; doing crafts like drawing or painting; volunteering at an animal shelter, your mood will be greatly helped by encorporating fun.
